At first sight, this Elysia might be confused with the Thuridilla Carlsoni, but if it unfolds its lobes just a little bit a bright orange inner line lies just beneath its margin. In the younger animal documented on this page, this orange line is quite obvious. 2020 is the first year we have encountered this species and yet it has probably been right before our eyes all the time. They are well disguised against the background of algae covered rocks we have found them associated with. To just under an inch or 22 mm, but the smaller individual documented here was no more than 12 mm. Found in Koieie Fishpond, North Kihei in less than 1 metre of water.
