Orange Peel Nudibranch, Acanthodoris lutea
The only photograph I have of an Acanthodoris lutea is of a juvenile — extraordinarily tiny (8 mm?). It was found in the upper subtidal zone in an area of rock and sand substrate. Unfortunately, I assume it was a pulchra and did not get too fussy about taking photos. But at least the sighting is recorded.

This site is a constant work in progress, as it reflects daily discoveries and events that pertain to my life as a shallow free diver, snorkeler, photographer, videographer and researcher/post-academic. Please enjoy what's here as I work on categorizing the fish, mammals, turtles and invertebrates I encounter on the west coast of British Columbia and Maui, Hawaii.
