This is a sporadically common species, apparently, but Fall 2022 is the first time I have noticed them in over 12 years of looking for nudibranch species on Maui. I was fortunate to come across two very distinct looking individuals together — one a cream white with bright green branchia and another a deeper brown with brownish/cream branchia. The third individual, found in an entirely different location was a beige in-between colour with a slightly greenish hue to its branchia. This is a small species and the individuals documented here ranged in size from 6 mm to about 15mm. Found in the low intertidal zone on both the North and South shores of Maui.
